Kyra Moore, Deputy Director, Missouri Department of Natural Resources

Kyra Moore was named deputy director of the Missouri Department of Natural Resources in April 2025. 

As deputy director, she oversee the department's Division of Environmental Quality and Division of Energy. Kyra has served the department for more than 25 years in several roles, including director and deputy director of the Division of Environmental Quality, and director of the Air Pollution Control Program. Kyra holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Missouri - Columbia and resides in Columbia, Missouri.
