Meet the Regional Director - Dorothy Franklin
Dorothy Franklin has been the regional director for the department's St. Louis Regional Office since July 2012. She began working for the department in 2007, as an Environmental Manager in the department's Kansas City Regional Office. She became the regional director for the department's Kansas City Regional Office in the fall of 2009, before accepting the position at the St. Louis Regional Office. Before joining the department, Dorothy worked as the Environmental Health Manager for the city of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and also for the Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality, mainly in areas of water quality, hazardous waste, solid waste and environmental health management. She holds a Bachelor of Science in biology and a Master of Science in Environmental-Industrial Health from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor.
